ROYAL CASTLE AND PARC OF RACCONIGI

The Castello Reale of Racconigi was probably one of the favourite buildings of the Savoy family, a residence where the memory of a court life in which official institutional commitments were intertwined with the daily private life of its protagonists is still very much alive and tangible. Today, the Castello Reale of Racconigi is a museum complex open to the public and one of the UNESCO properties included in the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy system in Piedmont.

SAN SEBASTIANO DIOCESAN MUSEUM - CUNEO

The Museum is located in Contrada Mondovì, in the charming old part of Cuneo. The exhibition focuses almost entirely on works pertinent to the San Sebastiano complex. The very title of the “Museo diocesano San Sebastiano” or Diocesan Museum of San Sebastiano, expresses its identity as a window on “everything” (the territory and its interpretation) in relation to each “fragment” of the local area (the museum, the objects, stories, events, etc.). The itinerary explores the devotions of an ancient brotherhood, thus telling the story of a significant piece of spirituality in relation to local history and society.
